2009-06-05 - Vancouver - Vancouver Island and The Pub:
The last week or so have been extremely busy here in Vancouver. I've had my 25th Birthday (ahem), we ended up at a pub for drinks and then onto burger and chips (how old!?). We went traveling into the interior (see the blog below).
On Sunday we went down to 'Dear Lake' and went kayaking for an hour ($15, bargain!) which was great fun; even if we did go round in a lot of circles!
On Tuesday, we went flying in a weeee little plain around the Vancouver island. It had 4 seats, 1 propeller and that's about it (see the control panel)! Thank you Matt
On Wednesday I went swimming in Lake, not clear but extremely clean and very refreshing in this 30 degree heat. We're leaving Vancouver soon, so I want to keep doing as many of these types of things as possible
