2008-12-31 - New York, USA - New York over New Years!:
I know its late... but we went too NEW YORK for new years. It was brilliant, bloody freezing and tiring, but what a city. Firstly, New Yorkers are overrated (not that friendly) and the sewers smell, the city itself though, the subway, the buildings and the shops are amazing! We got there on the 30th (just) went to times square for the 31st/1st, shopping on the 2nd, Washingston on the 3rd and home again on the 4th (or maybe it was the 5th)... A great opportunity to take pictures and a lifetime experience
